Friend Makin' Monday's

10 Things I could not live without!

Join in the fun over at Kasey's!

1. Diet Pepsi

2. Honda Odyssey* I LOVE my car!

3. Blogging- I can't go one day without reading blogs or blogging myself!

4. Reading- I love to read...I don't do it as much as I would like to anymore

5. Mafia Wars on Facebook...this is a new addiction and I surprise myself with how much I like it!

6. Entertaining- I LOVE to throw a good party and have everyone over

7. My friends- Lord knows where I would be without my friends...I lead a crazy life and somehow they deal with me!

8. My dog...as "O" get's older it get's harder and harder to think that he may not be with us forever

9. "V"- nobody would put up with me and all my "moods" the way you have and you love me more than I may be worthy...I am so thankful

10. "D" "M" & "A" they're my life...without them I would only be half of who I am today!

This is why I love the blogosphere!

I pride myself on being able to find just about anything on the internet super highway...but today while catching up on my favorite blogs I found something that I have been looking for...something that will help "M" feel more comfortable this summer...

Thanks to The Meanest Mom...I can pick up a very cool yet flattering and still somewhat modest swim suit for "M' this year!!!

So of course I'm entering and weather we win or not I will be picking up a suite or 2 from here!!!

I love it!!!

We did it!

We found a house! I am super excited! And a very wise woman was right the decision was perfect because it was easy! I found the house and just knew! This will sound stupid but I could see our holiday decorations on the house! The neighborhood is wonderful for the kids, and the schools are perfect! I am very happy now that we will be able to call something "home" when we get there!

Now onto the other side of moving! I have to send "V" off to school for a few weeks and then get everything ready around here and then we're off! I'm sure I will have lots of other stressful moments until we get there. but for now I feel better!

There's no place like home...

Have I told you I am completely impatient and I really enjoy having things fall into place??

"V" and I found a house we both liked a lot (this is unusual) in the area we will be moving to...we put in a rental application everything was approved...but the landlord want us to pay for the house starting on May 1st and we will not be in the area until the 21st...it's was quite a bit of money to put out for a house we wouldn't live in...we even tried to compromise and ask if we could pay from the 15th on...but he was not agreeing. So we've walked away from the house. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing...I really liked the house and the idea that we would be done looking, but I was definitely not happy about the additional money we would have to be out in order to get the house.

So needless to say we're back to square one again...hopefully we'll get it all wrapped up soon since "V" is leaving in a few days and it will be very hard to reach him to help make decisions.

Oh the joys of moving!

Randomn Photo Post

So in the last week or so I've been very busy...keeping up with work, family and friends is tough...so I thought I would give you a photo run down of what I've been up to...

First we went to a K-State Basketball game with some friends and took a really blurry picture
We saw a lot of free throws...most of them were missed...
But hey that's why we call it the Not Invited Tournament...
But Willie the Wildcat was there so that makes it fun...
It was a great game...even into overtime
Then we hung out with some friends for St. Patrick's Day...
"V" is so super cool in his glasses...
My girlie's...none of them Irish except for that one day!
Then a few day's later "V" went over to help a friend wash his cars....

But he really just stood around taking pictures of his friend washing his cars...
Then I stopped by to say "Hi!"...
And "V" continued to take pictures of the cars...

"V" also took a picture of the frighteningly "fake" stuffed cat I bought at the gas station for a $1...his name is Bruce
I also remembered a super cool place "M" and I could visit...
She lives in books these days...
Then the next day I went back to work...say Hi to my Boss, Mark!
This is Robert! Robert is trying to tell you he enjoys a good soda from Sonic...Robert also frequently fails to mention he's going to Sonic and therefore he never brings anything back for the rest of us...
This is my pal & co-worker Liz...here's she is showing you that we would never ever log onto Facebook and play Mafia Wars at work...never...
This is my bud Brad...he's working very hard right now so I secretly took this picture...I will come back to Brad later...
Now say hi to Jenn...one of the sweetest people! Jenn has a license plate that says JennPoo...the 7th grader in me laughs every time I see it...
This is the hallway that leads to the studios where I work...
This is the bullpen where we hang out and talk about things that probably should never be mentioned...that soda machine has bilked me for more money than I care to mention...
This is Brad's message board...he would prefer that we did not write and draw on it (that's what it says on the top left) but what fun would that be...do you see my horrible drawing of a palm tree??
This is Brad...if you worked on the Morning Show with Brad this is what you would see every morning...ok maybe he wouldn't always be smiling but you get the point...
As usual I've said something incredible witty that made Brad laugh...it's a gift...
Just so you know it's "Mr. J" to you...
This is Brad's view...
Hi Rodney...I know you turn the On Air light on just so you don't have to talk to me...I've caught on...it's on!
See....proof...
Hi again Mark! What was that? How much work have I been doing? Of course I'm working hard! Wait who told you I blog at work??
Hi again Liz!! Those listener calls can get pretty funny!!
Oh look my friend Justin has arrived! Yes Justin I would love to shoot some hoops!!
Oh Justin..every time I kick your butt you just get so sleepy...next time I will try and take it easy on you...
Justin it's time for your show wakey wakey
Justin...that looks not very nice!
See we're still happy friends!!
So after that incredibly stressful week at work we decided to check out the museum's on post...
Hey "D" no I don't think you can get licensed for that next year...it's really for the best!
Hello gorgeous...you know those head phones you wear non-stop...I don't think I like them anymore...they don't really count as an accessory...
Sweet castle like structure...
"V" is an awesome tour guide...he's an amazing history buff, and he's full of info!
Why hello children and "V" funny to see you among all of these tanks...
"M" I know history's not our "thing" but let's just go with it no need for the "stare"
Wow, "A", reenacting Tienanmen Square may not be very PC...although I applaud your 9 year old mind...
Aww there's a smile...fangs and all...again not sure the fangs are a must in every outfit...
It get's a little windy here...but I must say the Robert Pattinson hair looks good on you "A"
Wow "M" when they built this WWII bunker/trench they probably didn't think you could turn the whole scene into a horror movie...nicely done...
Oh, that's a bit better...I don't like horror movies...
On the way home "V" told me I had a new nick name...apparently he now calls me "Pancake"...not sure why
When we got home "M" and I took pictures of her Build a Bears to sell in a lot on Ebay...I still haven't listed them...
"D" also grew a Pug out of his butt...the doctors said not to worry it can be removed...
Then the wind and rain and stinky clouds rolled in...
I don't like these clouds at all...
They make me very nervous...

but they do make for cool Blog photos...

So hopefully I've caught you up..ignore this misspellings...it took forever to upload the photos and now I'm tired...
